The Grit Scale is a self-report questionnaire that measures two dimensions of grit: perseverance of effort and consistency of interest. Perseverance of effort is the tendency to stick to a task even when it is difficult or challenging. Consistency of interest is the tendency to maintain interest in a particular activity over time.

The Grit Scale has been used in a variety of research studies, and it has been shown to be a valid and reliable measure of grit. It has also been shown to be predictive of success in a variety of areas, including academic achievement, career success, and military performance.
